Just like you, I did not have the time to sit and go through all my paperwork to see what was relevant and what was not. I had a general understanding of how it worked, but it was a headache and I never got anything back from SARS anyway.
Through my studies, I gained an understanding as to what questions should be asked when it comes to an individuals personal income tax. (There are more when it comes to business taxes). Through this I started doing my husbands, and my own income tax submissions, and started getting refunds from SARS.
I decided there and then that I needed to start putting the wheels in motion to get registered as a Tax Practitioner!!
